How Do I  Register My Child?

 

To register for a place please fill in our enquiry form this will then come through to our system and put your child on our enquiry list. Alternatively give us a call, we will go through with you the type of place you require and also when it is age appropriate for your child to start our contact number is: 0114 239 7349.

 

How Does Your Waiting List Operate?

 

The main points of the year where sessions are booked in are January, April and September. At these points children already in attendance at pre school are given the opportunity to expand their current hours first, then once these have been allocated we will then work our way down the waiting list in the order of date the name was placed on the list. If you are on our waiting list and require a place but one is not available we will contact you to inform you and also provide a rough guide as when you can expect a place to become available.

 

Do I Just Register My Child's Name With Pre School For A Funded 2 Year Old Place?

 

No, you need to register your child's name with us but also contact Sheffield City Council to apply to see if you are eligible for a place. If you are eligible then you will receive a letter stating this which must be produced to us before a place can offered. Please click HERE for further information.

 

What Will Happen When My Child Is Offered A Place?

 

A member of staff will contact you to offer your child a place, you will book in to come along with your child at a mutually convenient time - please bring along your child's birth certificate and 'red book' to this meeting. During this induction meeting a member of staff will show you around the setting, if you are happy with everything then at this point you will complete all induction paperwork, this can take around 30 minuets. Your child will be able to investigate all the activities on offer during this meeting, we will then discuss with you the various settling in options available. We will not and do not tell you how to settle your child in! we will give advice and support but you know your child best and we will respect this at all times.

 

What Type Of Places Do You Offer?

 

Here at Pre School we offer all the funded early education for all 2, 3 and 4 year olds, as well as the funded early play for eligible 2 year olds, we also offer paid for childcare where you can access this before the universal funded early education starts or in addition to funded early education/play. You may also choose to claim your funding at another provider and pay for childcare here at pre school. Please contact us if you would like more information or to discuss your needs in more detail.
